Did you crop the photo at all? I was told the Sigma 30 vignettes when stopping down, but I don't see much of it in your photos.

I need to stay out of the buy/sell forum. It's burning a hole in the wallet...

Nice shot's! Watch that dust on your sensor in the second image, I'm sure it's more visible at high aperture settings. Quick clone and your good!

Thanks!

Yeah, I saw a couple spots after I uploaded, it's been a while since I've given them a good cleaning. I guess it's time to get the sensor swabs out.:)

Hi folks ! I've watched the lovely pictures in this thread and started to think about few things. How good is MK II and MK II N cameras autofocus system. I've seen many action shots here...and i thought that MK II and MK II N :s autofocus system is darn quick and accurate and is almoust about par to MK III:s autofocus system level. Am I right about my thoughts ? ...please give me information.

How much do ya crop your photos later...if its nessessary. Do ya keep anyway your pictures size about at 6 megapiksels..if you crop the maximum amount ?

Hope you understand my english writings.. I'm not native english speaking person..so...

An one thing that I saw for my suprise there was photo taken with Sigma 30mm 1.4 (at 2.5). In my knowledge the Sigma 30mm f1.4...is only availabe at EF-S mount. So ..another quesition how is it modified to fit to this camera body ???

Jelperi, the first MKIII's had focus issues. IIRC, a firmware update corrected it, but some owners still felt their old MKII's focused better. The issue or the hype was bad enough at the time that some pro photographers needing a new body rushed to buy the MKIIn before they sold out.

I would still consider a used MKIII if I needed another body. a few more MP and larger screen would be nice, but I'd never consider it superior in focusing. (nor inferior)

1DMKIIn, 5DMKIII, 20D, 50 mm f/1.8, 10-22 EF-S, 28-135IS, 28-75 f/2.8 Tamron, 70-200 f/2.8L IS, 100-1400L, 24-105L, 580EXII
