Wow! Those are terrific. I think the reason you got such a great response is because no one here really does this kind of macro photography, and you are clearly an expert in it. In any case, great job.

gatorlink, I'd like to think I'm an expert it in, but there is always far more to learn! Right now I'm digging my teeth into some of the science behind these beauties. #5 shows signs of birefringence, for example, and I'm currently researching much more about how light bends in strange ways... fun stuff :)

Moonrocks, fractals in nature are everywhere, and snowflakes are a perfect example of that! Thanks!
