I think if you are serious about selling, it's going to have to go around $1500. CL is not a place to look at market value. People either ask for too much or too little. Problem with camera is that the longer you hold onto, the less they are worth. The last one sold here was at $1500 and the seller originally listed at $1650 but no taker. That camera was in excellent condition.

$1500 is about the normal price now for the 1DS2. I've been keeping my eyes on the price because I have been thinking about getting one when the price is low enough.

I want a 1ds mii and even posted an add wanting to trade my 7d/grip + cash awhile back but couldn't get any serious offers. If I can find one posted on here, fred&miranda or thesportsshooter in the $1600 range I just may sell the 7d if a trade+cash can't be worked out and pick one up cash outright.

Saw that one too. I just bought a 5Dc and a Zeiss 21mm the day before, otherwise I would have bought that camera in a heart beat.

Thanks for the link drive_75, I'm checking out a couple more as well so I'll see what happens. I would really miss the back lcd on the 7d but there are always tradeoffs to everything.
