Good morning

I am new to this forum, and just wondered if someone could help.

I currently have a 550D which i have been using for a couple of years now. While i think it is a great camera, I feel that i am beginning to outgrown it given that I am starting to attract bits of pieces of paid work (be it weddings, events, band pro-mo's etc). I do not shoot action / wildlife etc and am currently doing a lot of urban landscapes and street photography.

While there is nothing "wrong" with the camera, I was just wondering whether anyone could let me know their thoughts on the following:-

Would the jump from a 550D to a 5D MK II be worth it, and would i see a difference in my pictures? (note that i cannot afford the MK III).

In respect of lenses, I currently have the 24-105L, 70-200 f/4L, and a 50mm 1.8. The other lenses I have (30mm 1.4, 10-20mm etc) are all SIgma's for cropped frames and may have to go, although i LOVE the 10-20mm.

Many thanks

it might be worth it if you appreciate full frame features and can get the 5DmkII at a good price

In prints 12x18 or smaller, shot in good light at low ISOs, probably not. In larger prints, yes. In high ISOs, yes.

If I'm not mistaken you could still use that sigma with a 1.4x converter ( don't remember the name ) and get a nice 14-28 ( most probably manual focus :) ).
For me getting to digital FF was a required step with all the prices on film.

It was worth it for me...

Rebel XS to 5D2

I print large portraits for clients, so I had a need. Higher ISO is so freakin awesome. My rebel was crap over ISO400
