that second one is very cute! Using the tamron?

Yup! I love this lens, outstanding value for what it can do.

Here is another:

Tsk tsk. I call foul! That's a professional model, is it not? (As in your wife is a model)

I'll tell her that but she has never modeled.

I will take some credit, or blame, for posing her, getting the reaction I want, and knowing when to press to shutter. She has developed and is developing better instincts for what looks good.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

I agree, I assume you have the non VC model, which I do. I just received mine about a month ago to take on a cruise that we are going on. Found it to be a little soft at 2.8 but very good after that!

Since the light was so nice coming through our living room window I grabbed my b800 and BD;) Since having our daughter 5 weeks ago my wife is not feeling very sexy. This is as best I can get for now. Lol

Yeah, non-VC. I remember reading on the lens section on this forum that more people felt the VC version was softer than the non VC so I went with that one, and it was a lot cheaper which is nice since I'm in grad school with no income.

It did however miss focus on some shots during a friends engagement shoot last weekend, no problem since I took enough shots.
