Let them fight without a head gear, then you'll get facial expressions or details. Lol. just kidding.

I'm almost to the point of installing some small lights inside the helmet - but my boys object.

Those are 7 year olds, who are prone to dropping their hands - headgear is an absolute must even though facepunching is not permitted. The faceguards are not required, but really - just how negligent of a parent are you if you don't make you're kid wear one?

We had a 9 y/o fight in our national tourney last year w/o a faceguard - I have some lovely pics of him holding his mouth after his opponent (my other son) kicked him on the jaw and knocked out a couple of teeth - I really wanted to kick the other dad in the face for that.

Hey guys my friend just posted this to his FB page and thought I'd share. He has some good looking prints in his house, not the best, but not horrible either. I'm thinking for 3.50 I might have a few done up for myself.

Fellow photographers, the place I get all my poster prints is having a awesome sale 20x30 poster for 3.50 each! www.yorkphoto.com (external link) Code = MOVEPOSTER

The way I look at it, those people would never pay regardless. Crooks are always going to be crooks. Why waste energy on those who would never pay to begin with?

I would be flattered to have people steal my work (low res internet images).

Not saying watermarking is bad, but just don't waste any more of your time than that trying to prevent theft.

Alex you should put your images on Flickr or a site that disables right click or whatever and don't post it on FB unless it's resized for web viewing aka 800x600 or less.

i don't have a good studio. i shoot that in the kitchen with my green screen hanging at my sliding door. I used two umbrellas a white through one and a silver or gold. Canon 430EX II and Yongnou 560 flashes. Then Yongnou transceivers.

i'm planning to convert my garage into studio convertible.

thanks.

that's ok man, good studios are boring. I'm more interested to see how you set up in the kitchen. But your description is good enough too. I can picture it hehe.

yeah certain sites will allow you to upload full res pics, and then limit what you can view and even further limit what you can dl.
then you can even add dynamic watermarking which is on the site level, so your originals are still intact.

Alex, where are you finding your stolen images being used?

I find them all over tumblr, facebook and all over forums. I understand they aren't being use for money but I still like to get recognized for my work.

I do have them on Flickr and I have disabled where they can download my photos yet they still do. Screen picture is my guess. On Facebook I always post 1024x635. I think thats low enough where they can't really do anything with them. Im happy the way the watermark came out. A really good friend of mine designed it. Now if I see my photos all over the internet at least they can see who took them.

Even so on facebook I only post 800x600, anywhere in the web I won't post higher. It's enough to see the watermark and see the image, and it's thumbnail hatred for those who take it and try to blow it up.

For the Photoshop people that watermark is really easy to make go away. I think you will need to spread it across the entire pic if you don't want it removed easily. On that picture you proly would have to run it across her face.

I'm fine with that, no big deal. Great simple watermark by the way.
