I have an excellent alternative to the Lee kit for sale if anyone is interested.
https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1133873
The Lee holder is identical to the foundation kit except it has 4mm guides but the Lee 2mm can be used.

I would also recommend anyone interested in Lee items to contact 2filter. Very nice folks to deal with.

Ahhhh, so I need both of these.
Gets more expensive by the minute.
LOL

Well, I have the soft filter set coming and should have gotten the UWA ring too.
The thread that was done on these filters is very helpful.

Thanks

Update:

B&H is now sold out of the starter kit and 77mm WA adapters.

edit: 2filter does however have 77mm WA adapters in stock;)

As soon as I got the email from b&h the other day for one of the lee items I had setup a notification for I immediately checked to see if the big stopper was in stock... It was and so I ordered one as fast as I could. I figured I could easily sell another for double on eBay to essentially make mine free so about ten minutes later I ordered another. I got an email about 30 min later that there was an error and the item was not in stock... But the first on was and now it's here with me.
I guess I'm pretty lucky since I only added it to my things to buy list about a week earlier.

Once I got the email notification for the starter kit I checked availability for the big stopper and it said it was back ordered. So you are very lucky.

Got the Lee filter set of 3 (soft) from B&H.
Calumet is sending me a Lee holder from their Cambridge MA store. Shipped.
And I ordered a 77mm WA ring from 2filter.com

The filter set came yesterday. Very nice.
I like the soft 3 sleeve pack it came in.

I should be good if the holder is the Lee foundation Kit one.
Apparently Lee makes a holder for Calumet and this may be the one I am getting.
We'll see.

Got the FK from Calumet and it was the Lee Filters Holder System FK.
Waiting on my 77mm WA ring from 2filter.com and I will be good to go.
I tried the filter by hand this Sunday afternoon and I like it. I noticed that B&H still has the hard set of 3 GND filters.

Good stuff.

My Big Stopper arrived last week from 2filter. Been waiting since early August 2011.
Have updated my Schneider/Lee filter kit to include the Big Stopper. Wanted it, but do not need it.
