Went to watch my nephew play hockey up near Toronto.

Nice. Can I ask what are your tips for processing (if any)? I shoot a lot of community rinks and strobes are not an option. I have to try to nail the exposure which is tricky of they are not evenly lit. I've found some success in a few places, but do you have any go-to actions that you use to make the colours pop but have such crisp, white ice? I'm still learning...

how did you get in position for that shot?
it looks almost straight on?

Thanks.

I was shooting with a 1D mark IV and a EF 300 2.8 from high up in the stands down the length of the arena. I position myself so I am shooting just above the glass.

I didn't do much processing, just cropped and sharpen. It was a ISO 5000 shot with the ice blown out. Custom WB on the ice too.
