I usually refrain from from sharing because some people have been very harsh to me, replying with only blatant criticism and not constructive at all...and, well, I'm here to get better and learn...gotta start somewhere :)

I'm so envious of everyone's photos on here, how amazing they are! I feel like my photos are lacking that extra something that would make them look more than just a snapshot. I'd love some constructive feedback. Thank you!

These are good. I would suggest shooting a bit later in the day to take advantage of beautiful natural light

^^^ agreed...the harsh light doesn't help....also, a couple are too underexposed for my taste. Overall, you have a nice set and a great backdrop.

1 and 2: have subjects keep their chins up so it doesn't create a double chin.
3: looks good. she looks super sexy. women like to look sexy.
4: harsh lighting but what can you do?
5: nice! a little cool on color temperature for my taste.
6: i would've scooted him closer to her head so you can see her eyes.
7: nice. maybe try to get him laugh like she is…she has a great laugh going on.

Thank you for the comments. May I ask which you were referring to about the exposure. I'm thinking you'll say #2 because I lost the detailing in the black.

I asked her to whisper something 'naughty' into his ear...afterward she told me she was whispering to him about how bad his breath was. I guess that explains the not so amused face lol!

Here is what I posted in the other thread.

Ill give my crit here.

1. Cute shot with a really natural emotion captured. I think I would have done it from a little higher up. Careful with the double chin.

2. I dont really like this shot. Its a bit underexposed and the pole doesnt make an interesting background.Moving yourself to the right or the left a little will get that pole out of the background.

3. Again, I dont like that pole nor the light. When there is light and dark portions like in this image, it makes it look somewhat snapshotty.

4. I like this image, but I dont like the pose. Good job using the direct light nicely, but I dont find a good connection between the couple.

5. Cute, but too blue. The pose is fairly week- he looks uncomfortable and she isnt flattered.

6. I am sorry, but I have no idea where this was going. This is just so odd. It is a major crotch shot for the guy, the woman has no head or feet. I really would just like to know where you were going with this shot.

7. Cute emotion on the woman, but the guy kills it for me. The composition is just ok, and it looks like it could turn to an upskirt shot quite easy.

These are comments made for your benefit. If you do not agree with something/anything I said, please ignore it. None of this was intended to hurt your feelings or insulting.
