Hi,

OK.

I literally sold my 5D Mk II within 5 min of posting an ad. I am abit bummed out about it, but am looking forward to the Mk III.

Aside from the owners manual (which I have downloaded) does anyone know of any books that they would recommend for the Mk III, or is it still too early?

Thanks

Would say it's way too early, will be looking at the DVDs when released though.

Too Early

I've noticed on Amazon UK , there are already pre order books for the 5D iii like 'Field Guide' and 'For Dummies' but they are not available until June/July (I suspect not even written yet).

Saw a couple on Amazon, pre-orders only and not out until June/July.

Yeah agree, I think the Blue Crane series of DVDs are pretty good, my wife has those for the 7D and another for the Speedlight.

if there are any books written at this point then they will be fairly worthless surely?

(other than paraphrasing the manual)

How could anybody even contemplate writing a book about a product that isn't on the street in any quantity yet? (apparently they are in UK already) If one -were- to be written this early-on, the only thing it could possibly contain is the same information in the product release and/or the online user manual. What good would that be?
