I just sent back 2 sigma lenses for AF adjustment and routine check-ups, and I got an "estimate" back from them today for $90 + $10 shipping for 1 lens. The other is under warranty.

Does this sound about right for a calibration fix?

There was no information on what they were going to do or what was wrong with it.
I replied to their email with those exact questions but haven't heard back yet.

Anyone that was dealt with Sigma please chime in......

Just thought i would ask here before I send payment.

It sounds about right as rates these days for technician type work is around $100/hour and up. I assume you are sending to Lake Success NY where it has been reported you get the best quality work?

Report back when you get them adjusted as to how it worked out.

Well, I just got my lenses back from Sigma...So far they seem to be spot on...Fixed all my focus problems.
Now, I haven't ran them through a full test yet, but after a couple quick shots here at the desk, they seem to be right where they should be....

here are a few from the 85mm f/1.4
It was back focusing pretty hard before i sent it back...even with Micro-adj. I couldn't get it close.

These are SOC and focus point is pretty much center of every frame.....
Im a very happy Sigma owner NOW....

Im going to take the 24-70mm f/2.8 out for a spin later..
