This is quite confusing to me, so I'll do my best to explain...

I have a Yahoo mail account that has been established for well over 5yrs.
I have a Gmail account that is approximately 3yrs old.
I have a Flickr account that is maybe a year old.

Here's the problem: I prefer to have autologin enabled on my personal computer for Yahoo mail, Gmail, and Flickr. It seems that some time in the last year, Yahoo and Flickr have merged? Now, whenever I log into my Yahoo Mail, I get booted from my primary Flickr account, as it thinks I want to use the Flickr account associated with Yahoo Mail, and have to go through the sign in process (sign-in through Google) to re-enter. Once I sign in to my Flickr, and get booted from Yahoo Mail and have to manually sign in. As soon as I check my Yahoo Mail again, I have to repeat the whole process to get back into Flickr.

This has been driving me absolutely crazy, and Flickr hasn't responded to my email in 2 weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

Yahoo bought flickr long ago. They also made it clear that they were phasing out the flickr logins in favor of the yahoo login. Not sure how you got a flickr account in the last year though. They stopped issuing those a while ago. There's a lot of anger from folks who did not want to get a yahoo account (similar to how google is pushing one account for everything google).

But the only answer is to just use multiple browsers. Chrome allows for multiple profiles relatively easily that run in parallel.

And if you think that's annoying, try having multiple google app accounts, heh.
