never a camera, but bought 4 lenses thru them - all has been perfect.

Rick, can you get a discount by sending in an old camera, like you do with camera bodies?

I see an EF-S 17-55 for $943 (new is $1099). If I can get it for 20% less... I might pull the trigger...

I echo BrickR "I got a refurbished 60d thru the CLP program. Wouldn't know it was NOT brand new if it weren't for the white box. I'd have no issue going refurb from Canon again." but jraut has me beat as my 60D had about 45 shutter actuations.

I bought my 60D and 15-85 from Canon as refurburbisheds. I would have purchased my 70-200 f/4 L as well, but with a rebate, free shipping and no tax I was able to buy brand new for essentially the same price at the time. I am considering a 5DII refurb. With the CLP discount it would be a great deal.

60D as well, shutter count 8. Works perfectly. I'll never buy retail again.

Aside from the "white box", never would have known it (60D body) was a refurb. The only downside for me was sales tax, but as priced last Dec. it still came in less than Adorama (where I've purchased a Canon refurb lens at an excellent price) which ships free and doesn't charge sales tax.

I went with the 7D from the CLP. Great value and no regrets after 6 months.

I bought a 7D refurb. It operated as a new camera, never counted the shutter clicks to see how many were on it. It did have a couple little nicks near the hot shoe - obviously it didn't affect the performance, but it wasn't in the "like-new" condition others have gotten.
