Hi,

I was having a conversation with a friend around classic portraiture posing. I remember reading books on it long ago. He came back to me today and said he was having trouble finding good resources on the web for posing info, tips, do's and dont's, etc. I looked around a bit and did not see much, which surprised me.

Does anyone have links to good resources on the subject? IE, Poses to make people look their best.

Years ago I started a 3 ring notebook with clear page holders that I would put pictures in as I found them that I liked for posing ideas. I call it my "idea" book. Now it has hundreds of poses in it that I like. Today I place pictures into my iPad so that I can show my subjects what I have in mind without having to thumb through pages of pictures.... just an idea.

Photo Plus had a model pose chart for standing, sitting and facial expressions within the last 3 months that you can find online at their website.
