That rant is idiotic. The 60D is a great camera that is priced perfectly. There is no other camera in the market quite like it at it's price point, and from what I can tell it has been a very strong seller for Canon. I have no complaints about the lack of MFA which I have never used or needed, or the quality of the body, which my one year old camera doesn't even show a single scratch.

If a camera makes him sick, he really needs to get out more and actually take some pictures and realize there are a lot of other things to worry about in life.

He definitely is sick and in need of help. I doubt if the camera is the causative factor though...

David; you nailed it. Perfect business portrait.

Actually quite good. Not your usual work that we see here, but I'm sure your customer will be happy when he sees it. It makes him look not only dignified and intelligent but someone with a pleasant attitude who is approachable.

This isn't your usual fare, but it is your usual level of excellence.

You have to be loving that 70-200mkII, no?

Good job on the business portrait, and I like this one too...

Great job as usual. Excellent expression on the part of your client. He's like communicating to the audience.

One thing though, does it not look like a wax? i don't know. Maybe because i'm tired.

Another thing is... it's done with your 60D. it does look like coming from your 5d Mark II.

Wow guys, thanks for all that feedback! Looks like I did my job right, the client (and his wife) are very happy about it.

Had to do a business portrait today, used the 60D + 70-200mkII. Let me know what you think of it.

Hey Rivest, what was your setup for that portrait?

Hey guys, what do you think? I took this shot walking through a outdoor mall at night with only a streetlight for lighting. My friend asked me to take a pic of him and his wife after a dinner for his birthday, so more less just a snap shot, but I've been getting a lot a of feedback on facebook and thought I'd throw it up.

Hey Rivest, what was your setup for that portrait?

Pretty much the same than my usual studio shots. Einstein as key camera right, B1600 as fill camera left. Only this time, my lights were more to the side of the model instead of the front. Shot on my white seamless (around 10 feet from the model's back).
