FWIW i agree, mine does seem to be "tight" and hard to get on and off

^^^Box Elder beetle? We used to get thousands of them wintering on the side of our house. Hated those things.

So I have a 5D Mark II, I currently have a Sigma 24-70, and a 50mm 1.8
Sony A7rII + 50mm F/1.2
What did you plan on using the 35 for? Would help to narrow down some options. You have this focal length covered in your zoom range, so this lens would be great in being tiny.
