I think that is what its called.

duplicate the layer, guassian blur until its almost not recognizeable, change the blending mode to overlay, and mask the areas you want. dont do the eyes and probably not the lips. then if you want, use vibrance to make the skin look more natural.

This?

I finally got around to finishing this set...I'm a sucker for headshots and I loved these. Such totally different looks.

Love how you process skin Joe.

These senior shots make me want to get my hair all cute and do some self portraits, lol.

I keep expecting her to turn into someone else, vis a vis the Michael Jackson video

First time doing senior portraits. Did it for a friend.
Only got around to editing one photo so far.
Any critique is welcome! Thank you!

Thats really good for F/2.8. I thought you might have used an ND to get more blur. Looks real close to F/2.0 with the shallow depth. I can get it with an ND on version 1. And, Of course if i use a prime and get it to F/2.0 and below,,,,cha ching. Love this pic. It does look like a painting.

I must be reading that wrong. You're not going to get f2 DoF on a f2.8 lens with an ND. It doesn't work that way.

Took this grouping because he's going into ASL Interpretation, thought it'd be cool to have him do this series of pictures that say "Class of 2012" in Sign Language.
