This challenge is to try and continue the fantastic thread that we had a few months ago about weekly Rebel challenges. Most people have upgraded their gear but are on the "crop camera" bracket still (not me, still with my old 500d), so this is to accomodate them and the rebel users still remaining.

Please use this thread for any discussions about the challenge itself, leaving the weekly thread just to post photographs and votes.

Rules will be similar to the previous challenge:

*Must be shot with Canon Crop Camera
*Must be shot during the time frame (usually one week Mon - Sun)
*Must provide Exif data
*Only one pic per person
*Pic can be changed until deadline
*Submissions must be posted in the relevant thread during the time frame
*Voting will begin the day after the time frame expires and will go on for 6 days (Mon - Sat). Voting is open to anybody on the forum
*Winner will choose topic for the following week.

Untill there is enough people taking part of the challenge, it is good to let the topics stay as broad as possible. The theme Best Photo of the Week, is a great first post!!!

I think it would be good also, to invite people to post more than one picture, or at least to be able to change the pictures untill the deadline. That will help to let the topic stay visible in the forum. But it will also make it more interesting for people to take a look through the week. The risk is that everyone wait untill sunday to post a picture, and that will make the competition look dead untill sunday.

I think that to be able to change your photo during the week is a great idea kent. Will add it to the rules :)

Just a thought..........voting seems to take place within 2 days so maybe to give more time for people to get out and get a shot maybe we could make it that the time frame for the comp could be..
Comp runs from friday to the following sunday (10 days) and voting goes from monday to thursday (4 days). What do you guys and gals think?

An extention would be great for me and since all posters so far have agreed i guess we will.My question now is how long do we have (next sunday)? Also can i suggest that the posts (not photos) be deleted from the comp page so not to clutter up the page. And if Kent could change the first post to reflect the extension.
