A couple more - the light varied from perfection in the opening shot above to backlit in some others. Here are a couple of the lesser shots from that evening, as you can see the light did me few favours for some of them!

As I said, the opening shot was the stand-out but still, it's a Spit :D

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", 1D MK II converted for IR, and now an M5

Thanks for all the kind words folks. Living in this country we're fortunate to see Spits quite often but catching one in the evening sunlight is a rare treat indeed. I'm pleased I did it some justice and the first shot on Page 1 is now framed on my office wall :)

I've got a 1:72 diecast of a blue Spit at home. Definitely the stand-out in my set of 8 lol
