At the moment I work with :

15 2.8
35 1.4L
85 1.8

24-70 2.8L
70-200 2.8L

I would like to re-buy the 135 2L for modelling as a compact tele on top of my 70-200 2.8L IS (MKI). It's less heavy, and a nice candid lens, would you find this double seen the range ?
Does 135L have the same amount of blades and +- same bokeh as 135L both at 135mm wide open, I don't know if the bokeh/sharpnesss difference is minimal or clearly visable ?

I would sell 1 lens, but it's difficult as they are all great, maybe 85 1.8 and the rest save some money...
I could also work with only primes on the short end 15 2.8 - 35L - 85 1.8 - 135 f2L followed by a handy 70-200 2.8L IS zoom.
Don't know if I would miss the 24-70 zoom.

85 1.8 has a great bokeh and fast autofocus. and the focal length is the best for portraits

Yes I know they are all great, I even downgraded from 85L MKI for a faster 85 1.8.
I sold my 135L first cause I first found it too long on a 5D2, but when I see Mr 135L (Dankae) his pictures in the lens sample database, I think I should have forced myself to use it more :-)
Selling was a mistake, 135L is a class appart in comparison with 85 1.8 wich isn't also anything negative to say about.
I thought first of 85 1.8 as I have 24-70 2.8L allready.

I have an 85L f/1.2 II and 135L f/2 and I use them both for portraits. I got the 135L when I only had the 70-200L f/4 IS. I've upgraded that twice now, first to the f/2.8L IS MkI and then to the Mk II and I still love my 135L. The MkII zoom is starting to give it a run for its money but the smaller size of the 135L still makes it a winner.

Your 70-200 doesn't have f2 at 135mm....Most people who sell the 135L after getting the 70-200's seem to regret it...So, no....I think both have a place in the bag "if" you use them...Everyone is different though.

Easy. Sell whichever one you use the least, assuming it's not the 35L (I'd never sell that lens ).

I'd sell the 85. If you're shooting models, the 135 is ideal and you're not going to be using the 85 very much. The 135 makes everyone look gorgeous!

Don't rule out the 100 f2. Owned that lens twice as well as the 135 twice and honestly, it's awfully close in terms of IQ and I tend to pixel peep.
