Hi there,

Does anyone have a work around to do some processing on the Mac Aperture 3 and PS 5.5 until Apple releases the RAW updates to be able to read the CR2 file from the 5DIII? It kind of $uck$ that I can only use JPG for now unless I use the Canon apps which I am not a huge fan of.

Thanks

Glad you found a solution, but to answer this question. No, I don't believe you need a key. It is a "beta" of sorts.

That's right. No key needed. The LR RLC 1 site mentions a 6/30/12 expiration date

Apple just released the updates for the 5DIII RAW and everything works again. That was pretty fast and we didn't have to wait too long.

This is one of the strange things with the market these days, you would think that Canon, Nikon or whoever would want to work with these companies to make sure these updates were out before the cameras hit consumers hands. You really shouldn't need work arounds and beta/RC software to use the camera you just bought. I am glad to see that the updates got out pretty quick but they should have been out before the product.
