The nasty and dreary weather finally improved yesterday afternoon. I went out to a little pond that my son told me about but what immediately drew my eyes was the sweet curve in the tracks. I think that this photo has more interest than the last few I posted. All feedback is welcome as always. The next time I take photos of these tracks I will back up a little more so I can get more of the sky and the red tree on the right side. The light was fading really fast so I didn't have time to set up again.

I think the composition is fine as is. Adding more plain sky won't improve the image in my opinion.

You might try to boost contrast and increase saturation of the reds a bit. Here's a quick edit I did using the above adjustments (I also made it just a bit darker too.)

It looks like it could use a couple degrees of counter clockwise rotation (or maybe I'm just leaning a little to the right this morning) and some tinkering with the levels/contrast but composition wise, it's very nice!

Thanks for your feedback. I was trying to decide if it needed to be straightened just a little bit. Since there is no definite horizon it was hard to tell.

I really like this for some reason. The original seems to look "cloudy" with a haze covering the picture. This seems to remove most of that.

I like it, I like the composition and the curve and the background. I played with the Tones in Lightroom a little.

Lonestarlady I think you are correct about putting a little more sky in the scene. Here's my take going with an 8x10 crop.
