This photo was taken March 31st and I thought you might enjoy it. I've been working hard on improving my skills and I'm finally starting to see improvement.

There is a pond by me, if I shoot in any direction, all I will see is trees. :(

This image is beautiful, I also like the color of the shrubs in the foreground. Nice work!

just a few of my thoughts...

If I was still in Texas that's all I would see too. People from this area that go to Southeast Texas feel closed in by all the trees there. Thanks so much for your comment and letting me know that you like my photo.

Thanks very much for your comment. I'm also learning the best time of day for the best light. :)

Nice composition Lonestarlady61. Something to help you as you plan locations to shoot is "The Photographers Ephemeris (TPE) (external link)." When you learn how to use TPE for all its' capabilities, you can maximize the photographic enjoyment of your outings!!

Best of all, it's free for a desktop (does cost some $ for iPhone or Android, but well worth the $ when out in the field)

Thanks so much for your comment and the nice link. I've looked that up before but totally forgot about it. I'm using an app called Golden Hour to figure out the best times for good lighting. It tells you the times for sunrise, golden hour and sunset. You can also look ahead to whatever day you have a trip planned for.

Very nice, Twinkle. When I think back to some of the photos you posted a year or so ago, and compare them to this one, it's proof you have been learning a lot. Congratulations.

I remember you Jon. Thanks so much for remembering me, even the name Twinkle you gave me ;) Thanks so much for your wonderful comment, it's good to hear from someone who has seen my earlier posts.
