Right as rain! This is a sweet lens. I'm tired of constantly swapping out primes:mad:

i chose this forum because i find the user base to be mature and interested in captures of emotion and life. if you find the picture offense please look away. for those of you that want to look at images of gut wrenching emotional moments that cause you to feel what is in the capture, you have the fathers approval. by discussing this photo you are adding to the memory of his son, even though it be through anonymity.

Hi - I just wanted to say that I looked at the Flickr page and all the photos you took of that ceremony.

I notice that in the one that caused several comments, you were shooting at 73mm and had to have been a respectful distance away from the family - that seems true in all the shots.

I think you did a beautiful job - I've been to some of those - and I suspect the family will treasure these images - if not now, in the future.

Great work.

thank you very much. the family has used the photos on their facebook page to extend the ceremony and allow those that werent able to attend to be part of it. many of his military comrades are also commenting on the photos and everyone seems to be very thankful for them. i was safe distance used no flash.
