What program do you use for the 3D rendering? I've used SolidWorks when I was working.

I use Cinema 4D and Vray as a render engine.

Got 10 free samples from Moo, quite impressed with the quality and I actually think I like the larger square size. I made a couple small updates since this sample, but only minor changes. Forgive my grainy pics

After much working on it myself, and realizing I have no design skills at all. I just hired someone else. I can do enough to design the front of the card and leave the back to the professionals.

Very nice, I don't like the black border though.

If you don't mind me asking, was this a template? If so, which one? I really like this style.

Much appreciated! It was just an idea I came up with based on looking at lots of cards. I think there may be some templates with similar styles, but I just did this in photoshop...

The actual card does not have a black boarder. I just placed it on there so you could see where the cards end on any screen I place it on. The card ends at the white.

Hey guys, I'm new. Here's my business card idea. I want to go for a matte for the black, but glossy yellow and white. I'm not sure where to get that printed. Can you guys point me to the right direction?

To really get matte one side gloss on the other would be specialty work. Doable but pricy. To get a gloss stock with UV coating (shinny) on one side (reverse side still shinny, but not nearly as much) check out gotprint.net. 1000 cards, about $25 shipped to Columbus.

Thanks! Yeah, UV-coating is what i meant, not gloss.

Here are my new cards. Luxe cards from moo...these things are crazy thick. Almost as thick as a coaster at a bar.

edit: my apologies for the craptastic cell phone photo. I can assure you the quality is top notch.
