from today
Canon 5D2, Canon 50L
QUOTED IMAGE

I love the feel of this! I relize the 50mm and 35mm are pretty close in perspective, but images like this make me wonder if I really should have just bought the 50L instead of the 35L. My 35L has not even been delivered yet, and I'm already questioning it!

I need a catchy sig? Ehhh, I've got nothing...

thanks :)

i had both lenses, the 35L first. its a great lens, you cannot say so much bad about it, but the 35 mm wasnt my focal length. I had to get too close to the person so that the distortion was remarkable.
I wasnt disappointed of this lens, but after some months i realized that i had my 50 1.8 more mounted on my 5D than this lens.

The 50L is my favorite lens nowadays, sold my Sigma 85 & Canon 35L & 135L combo and its the only lens that i use now 90 % of my time taking photos - in case i need a wider lens, i've got a 28 1.8 always in my bag, but most of the time it stays in there ;)

But all in all, its up to you. Just depends on what one's preferences are.
So you should give it a try ;)
