I love the feel of this! I relize the 50mm and 35mm are pretty close in perspective, but images like this make me wonder if I really should have just bought the 50L instead of the 35L. My 35L has not even been delivered yet, and I'm already questioning it!
thanks
i had both lenses, the 35L first. its a great lens, you cannot say so much bad about it, but the 35 mm wasnt my focal length. I had to get too close to the person so that the distortion was remarkable.
I wasnt disappointed of this lens, but after some months i realized that i had my 50 1.8 more mounted on my 5D than this lens.
The 50L is my favorite lens nowadays, sold my Sigma 85 & Canon 35L & 135L combo and its the only lens that i use now 90 % of my time taking photos - in case i need a wider lens, i've got a 28 1.8 always in my bag, but most of the time it stays in there
But all in all, its up to you. Just depends on what one's preferences are.
So you should give it a try
