When is this camera gonna hit the shops, seems like it's been like forever since Canon announced it, are they having problems with it perhaps:cry:.

Well, to me, it's kind of like asking if the newest Ferrari concept car has entered production and available for purchase. :D It wouldn't matter to me as it doesn't affect me.

That said, I am looking to pick up the 1D X. But I'm going to wait for the reviews first before plopping down that kind of cash for the camera.

I'm torn between the 1Dx or 5D3 or 1Dmk4, getting fustrated waiting.....come ooooooonnnnnnnn.

I have been assured 'by the end of the month,' though these were the guys who assured me Canon told me last month 'by the end of the month.'

I already sold my 1D4 for one, which I miss, badly :(

All kidding aside I can't wait for it. I am going to keep my mkiv for the time being as a back up and wildlife body for the reach.

Canonrumors.com, 'ahem' heard a rumour that it may be delayed to as late as June. I can't say I believe that.
