Hey guys,

Here's a little project I may continue to persue this summer. Went to the beach with my buddy Dave to catch a bit of the swell...and quite honestly I miss the ocean smell so I had to go.

This goes against all the pixel peepers and the people who expect everything to be rediculously sharp...because I'm usually one of those people.

This project is about the Art of Surfing which strips away the the specific individual and creates an emphasis on the motions of surfing, and how graceful it can be.

Let me know what you think.

It was like 6-10am and the sun was BLARING...Had to bump my 70-200 f/4 up to f/32 so I could drag the shutter to around 1/6ss! Worked out very well!

I dont think these really show what surfing is all about being honest. They're hard on the eyes, some are hard to make out, i dont like them personally or see how they put emphasis on motion or how graceful surfing is..This is just my opinion.

Credit for being different though.

Hmmmmm since you asked, I tried looking at them several times and my eyes hurt, think the strain of trying to focus and the brightnes just does not work for me, but the creative idea was worth a try.
