I was curious too and I tried it out awhile ago. I didn't like it at all. This is your field of view on a full frame camera.

Thank you.

Yeah, I don’t think I like that either. It’s time for Samyang/Rokinon to come up with a FF fisheye.

I received mine this week! I think I'll have much fun with it. Here's one I tried in our garden (that's me jumping up in the background :))

This lens seems incredible. I can't wait to pick one up. Too bad I have other lenses at the top of my priorities right now, as well as a new body :P

I recently discovered that this lens when paired with a 1.4x teleconverter can be used on a FF body. Making the focal length to 11.2~12mm...and that's wide enough on a FF body. I will post some sample photos soon.

SOunds interesting. Meanwhile, those FF shots above, are they cropped? I think you need to make that clear. From earlier FF samples, I thought it would appear much more circular, unless you crop of course.

Great processing on those landscapes, Chad. Are those HDR or single exposure?

the above photos from FF are cropped. it's not a circular shaped on a FF body, it's somewhat a crooked rectangle and heavily vignette it could be caused by the petal hood on the lens.

I will post a photo of an 8mm on FF body with a 1.4X teleconverter as soon as I have some time and will do a comparison with a cropped version and a crop body version.
