Makes swapping between my 5D and 7D a bit tricky on occasion. I've shot outside in very bright sunshine at ASA 400 without meaning to.

I only use 400 in my film cameras by default:)
Never using auto ISO, except objects or me moving sun-shadow.
Majority if my shots:
Start with as low as possible ISO.
Select aperture I want.
Check shutter speed I need.
Check to have correct exposure.
Adjust ISO if current one doesn't provide right exposure with selected aperture and needed shutter speed.
Works well with AV and M, flash or not.

And another one that stood out from old shots.
Stupid PC managed to BSOD WHILE I was editing this photo and I lost all data... had to re-do it from memory, thankfully there really is only one way to do this particular photo, so it wasn't THAT hard. Still, the timing couldnt've been worse.

A good photographer can take extraordinary photos anywhere, with any camera and any lens while a mediocre one will take mediocre ones everywhere, with every camera and every lens.
Never limit yourself with what others think you should do. Shoot what you find interesting, exactly the way you want to.

Hi folks! I'm still alive!

Had a photoshoot today. It was one of those shoots where the best shot of the day happened by accident. We were just testing a new setup and the main light didn't fire, but I had opened up my aperture to make the DOF shallower...and this happened.

First draft. C&C welcome! Still gonna tweak the hair, arms and bottom of the cut a bit:
