Fantastic/amazing shots everyone! The 550D is certainly one capable camera and although I have lots of lust for the 5d mkIII this thread helps me keep my cool (and save me a great deal of cash!) :D

Pinnacle Mountain ,Little Rock ,Arkansas

Fun shot! I've been up Pinnacle Mountain a few times but not since I got my T2i. Arkansas has some lovely state parks. I just need to get out more...

Just back from a long wknd trip to Virginia for the holiday. Catching up on several pages that I missed while away. Wow!, great shots everyone! Too many to quote individually but stellar job by all as usual. Managed to shoot quite a bit so hoping to process some and post in a bit.

a technical questions..
how to do moving vehicle shots...

Get a car or two that will be your subjects, and have another one driving you. I like to hang out of the "chase" car and do my shots.

Or were you talking about the camera settings?

how can this happen =.="

I'm learning using middle point and re-compose. BUT when u wan ur subject to frame on Thirds , u are force to use outer selective focus point , sometime i feel that it can be focus , but when 100% crop the picture in pc , the subject are not 100% in focus .

I thought when you focus and recompose then the frame is in focus...

so if you obtain focus with center spot, then recompose for 3rds rule.

Subject should be in focus upon 100% blow up.

At least that's how i though it worked.
