What do you do about the planes? Edit them out? Leave them out? Don't shoot there? Just curious.... I've never used star trails to stack before, and here are my first two attempts.

Apr 13, 2012 08:19 | #8 Both are very nice and i really like the scenery you picked . Different from what i have seen in the past and brightness is just right . Some have a tendency to brighten the foreground too much but this is perfect for the image ! If you have Cs5 i would not use a black brush on that plane trail , i'd use content aware . One of the best things Adobe has added to their new PhotoShop software ! You can make it disappear without a trace !
