It depends on what I'm trying to accomplish... I process RAW files as far as I can in Lightroom and then open them as TIFF's in CS5 when more sophisticated tools are needed. I prefer not to crop until just before exporting or printing.

The tools that I use the most in CS5 are:

quick selection
layers & adjustments
eye-dropper
brushes
spot-healing
content-aware

Layer Masks...

Masks and Layer Properties are a very powerful tool when used appropriately. Nearly all my dodging and burning is done via masks using Screen and Multiply + varying brush luminance values.

I don't have any one favorite, but...what I would like...what I would really like is a pop-up warning "WARNING...THIS IMAGE HAS NO HOPE...DELETE IMMEDIATELY" :lol:

layers and masks is really the only reason i even have photoshop (maybe a little garbage removal w/content aware).... lr pretty much does all the rest.
