There's Calumet Photographic on 2001 (I think) Bryant Street in SF. Their people are great and friendly. If you're a student they could probably get you a discount for it too!

Hah awesome. Actually just graduated from Cal but I'll definitely swing by and take a look.
Thanks for the tip man!

Anyone here shoots weddings? I'd like to follow a wedding photographer just to get some wedding experience in.

There have been. In fact, I put together a meetup a couple of years ago in Yosemite, and the year before that we had about 25 people show up to go shooting in Golden Gate Park.

That sounds fun! We should set up another meet soon.

Have fun. I hate huge crowds. It's the same reason I avoid Fleet Week every year.
It's worse than trying to exit a concert.

Fleet week is fun!!! Just take your bike and you're set. Oh, and be sure you have something to do until about 7pm in SF, but that's easy to accomplish ;)

I don't like huge crowds either and also stay away from fleet week. However, Fleet Week is an annual event. GGB 75th is a milestone so I am willing to deal with the crowds then. I'm hoping Hawk Hill or someplace above it that I can hike to won't be as crowded.
