Shooting a Rally with a 50mm lens...

...it could only go wrong, but it didn't. My 5d and EF 50mm 1.4 were all I had with me when I attended the local rally stages in Portugal, so that's what I used.

would like to see a bit more motion blur in the last 2 images, but overall a good set!

Awesome shots, really love the 50MM 1.4 as a lens, have used it myself for hillclimbs and loved the result. Great colours and really liking #3.

So crispy well done. The thing i like about using prime lenses is it forces you to think about composition. No.3 is my pick :)

Very nice, and Good work - were these cropped much ?

Makes you think.... a 50 is a lot easier to carry around than a long zoom...
