I was wondering what you guys and gals use to share your photo's. To me it seems like some people almost have a fulltime job uploading their content to all sites: 500px, flickr, facebook, G+, Smugmug etc.
I have only recently started uploading my files and am really wondering if I should also get on other sites than just flickr.

Also, how do you decide which content you share where? Do you upload the exact same thing on FB and G+?

Just trying to get a feel here how to properly do this...

Regards

There really is no "proper" way to do things IMO. You do what you feel works for you. Keeping up with everything is a daunting job I think, so you need a way to measure your ROI (if that's even your goal). I don't have an answer for that myself.

It depends what your motivation behind sharing is. G+ and 500px are populated largely with photographers, so if your goal is to sell prints you need to connect with the folks who usually buy them. You will get lots of oohs and ahhs from your fellow shooters on sites like 500px, but not too many sales. That said, I'm on all of them. Great way to waste time ;)

Haha, I really have to figure out G+, but I'm not really liking it. I don't think I'm into selling prints. Apart from me being not nearly good enough, I reckon it's really hard to make (any) money off of it.
Also, is there something special about G+ that has an advantage over other sites that so many photogs use it?
