Have you guys ever wished you had longer working distance? Do you get shadow problems?
I am having a hard time deciding between this and the 100mm

Depends on what you want to shoot?
I have both the lenses and would not get shut of either of them.....

My understanding is you should get the 100mm if you want to shoot bugs. I use a flash so not shadow issues for me, but I am usually shooting flowers which don't move and are much larger than bugs. However the 60mm makes a great portrait lens on a crop body which is why I got it. It's very small and easy carry and not as expensive as well.

One thing I'll say is the 60 is a pleasure to walk around with and as mentioned great for portraits as well since you don't have to be a 'mile' away. The bug thing is certainly an ad for the 100m. Big difference in size if your walking around with it.

I loved mine when I was using a Rebel XT. I decided to pick up a 100mm f/2.8 along with my 5D Mark II. Although I don't use it, I somehow still have my 60mm f/2.8...

That's a great shot. What other equipment was used?
