Anyone bought a sigma from digitalrev?

Would warranty still work?
Would the 4 years work?
Is digitalrev authorized seller?

Thanks

Digital rev is not listed on sigma USA web site as an Internet dealer.

Hence making the answer to the last 3 questions, no.

Not that I am an experty on this by any means but i have found myself looking into alot of these "lower price" outlets while deciding on a new lens for my T2i.

What I have found with alot of them is that (at least according to sources on the web) alot of people have problems recieving what they ordered. Not sure about digital rev but at least with several places I have looked up that seems to be the case.

Kind of stinks as I would love to save some $$ and also perhaps support a smaller seller that may just be offereing lower prices to try to build up customer base but I would be too nervous to try based on what at least I have been reading.

First off...^^^^^DigitalRev is in HK, not mainland China...

Second, DigitalRev is a very reputable store, but don't expect to get a US warranty...Know what you're buying.

DigitialRev is definitely legit but the amount of savings is usually offset by the lack of warranty as previously mentioned.

What i meant is that it would be gray market.

I probably used the wrong context so here http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Canon-Lenses/Gray-Market.aspx (external link)

One trip to Japan for calibration or service will cost more in shipping than the saving.

And yes, Sigma USA will not touch a grey market lens unless you pay.
