Which lens do you use the MOST for all the events you shoot?

Any types of events (not just limited to weddings).. what is your no.1 lens which has never let you down both in terms of speed (capturing those special moments quickly - i.e. moving subjects, or people talking etc.), and has never let you down on the image quality.

nice! I saw that you shot with 85mm 1.8 the most... can you post a couple of your favourite shots with this lens?

Depends on the event. I tend to use the 50L a lot, but if all I am shooting are tight portraits, then my 85L will probably be glued to one of my cameras.

The 70-200 is so nice that I find myself using it more and more each event.


Canon 5D3, 5D2, 40D
EF 50mm f1.4, EF 85mm f1.8,

Pretty much says it all...
That was a wedding a few months ago.
Now I have fewer, better lenses and I’d say I use my 70-200 IS II the most, followed by the 24-70L and 85L II
