And Ricardo, that's a gem.

I had some nice clouds today.

Thanks Mook...and those B&Ws of yours...fantastic. (I too thought of the big alien ship appearing through the clouds....!)

very pretty, love the colors.

Thank you Mondayshift....here's one taken a bit later...not at all pretty, but I liked the effect!
(I'm having problems with the PP though....losing the smooth gradations in the sky...a sort of posterising effect. Does anyone know how I can avoid this please? )

Has anyone microadjusted their 35 L with this camera?

Yeah. Think it was 2 ticks towards infinity. Question?

I really want to see some shots taken with the Zeiss 100mm Makro...

(to convince me to buy one, of course :D )

I have some at home, but I can't recall whether I really loved them or not. I took it out once since getting the 5d3 and if I recall I didn't have that great of subjects to choose from because of the weather. If I have good ones I will post a couple, if not I will try and take some tomorrow and post them. Any kind of shots you are looking for in particular? Insects, flowers, landscape, street, portraits, etc... You name it (one or two only please) and I will at least try to give it a shot.

Today is ANZAC day...remembrance for Australian and New Zealand soldiers who died in the wars. We have a dawn parade, and as the song says... "each year the old soldiers are fewer...", but each year more young people turn up to remember and to thank.

How did you adjust yours?

I tried doing it manually and got fed up with it. It seemed to be somewhere between 1-5 clicks towards infinity (I can't recall if that is + or -) with my guess as -3 or -4.

I gave up and used a beta version of Reikan Focal. It came up with -2. Seems to be fine so far but haven't really been doing f/1.4 much since.
