^ Looks like the first pic is slightly OOF.. forgot to switch to AI Servo? I know, because I did on a recent shoot. :)

Yeah, It's definitely OOF and I knew I missed the shot. I was in AI servo mode, but man are they quick! I just gotta keep practicing. I posted the pic out of frustration.

That's great. Personally I would prefer a bit warmer skin tone, but it looks great even the way you have it.

Funny you say that...After looking at it again today to answer you question I was thinking the same thing. But once it's exported to my HD, put on flickr, and uploaded to POTN I get lazy to go back and make minor changes. If I print it I'm sure I'll touch it up. Thanks again for the comment.

thanks, this brown bird is more cautious then the others, glad i got a shot if it.


it's really my neighbors back yard that they really go to. they have this bushy plant that all these bird hang out.

Using AI Servo...focus is slightly off, but only due to the low light and the fact Thomas was moving about quicker than I could keep up. Generally speaking though, super impressed with the new AF!
