Thank you all so much! The light show was pretty crazy at one point. The whole sky lit up all around me. At times I just stood there and took it all in.

The last one does it for me, Scott; well done.
Al

Thanks Al. The was the last shot I took and the side light was from a truck coming down the road. It actually made the shot.

Love that last one! And thanks for the hilarious movie review.

Thank you David! If you're like me and like extra cheese then you'll enjoy it! I did!

"Somewhat successful" is an understatement! Stunning images!

Thank you. I say somewhat because my camera gear isn't all that great and had to use settings that aren't desirable and make for noisy images. Something I am very particular about.

Love the last two: great subjects to put in front of an aurora. Really well done!

Thank you. All too often I see people concentrating on shooting just the aurora or just a sunset sky and providing no real intrest in the photo other then that. I strive to include something of interest in my photos (short of the 2 abstracts in the OP) and will often not even take a shot if I can't find something interesting to include in the FG. As beautiful as a sky can be, a photo of just the sky usually does nothing for me and a shot with uninteresting FG elements that add nothing to the image usually also do nothing for me.

I wouldn't have stopped to shoot the aurora on Monday had it not been for the abandoned house that was just a short detour on my way home.

Wonderful series! Great work!

- I discovered I scream the same way whether I'm about to be devoured by a great white shark or if a piece of seaweed touches my foot.
