This shot is fantastic. You really know how to put natural lighting into good use.
And great PP as always!

What length did you shoot this with? I'm assuming 70 since it's hard to shoot food really up close huh? thanks so much for the kind words! i was really hungry as it was lunch time so i kinda just messed around w/ a few focal lengths... the metadata for that photo says 190mm so i think i was just about to stop shooting and eat lol... but with the MFD being a couple feet for this lens, usually you hafta zoom in closer to avoid a lot of crop work later in PP

I wonder if the mark iii TC's would be any improvement over the previous? Thanks, from what I've heard in the Canon 1.4x II versus III debate, the AF speed improves slightly and sharpness is slightly better in the mids/corners with the III, but it's not a huge improvement unfortunately. The Kenko pro 1.4x extender actually has slightly better sharpness in the center, but the price for that is worse mids/corners and slower AF.

Is the IS still effective? I was using mine on a very bright day and stopped down to around f/8 for most shots, but was still using some pretty fast shutter speeds (1/800, 1/640 for my gator and anole shots I posted earlier) Rob
