Looks like he's stalking something and about to pounce. It's not your usual pose for a bird but I like the shot too.

I kind of like it too but I also think I would love it if it was a freeze action with no blur....

For birds, I am not fond of this type of shooting, it looks like you 'missed' this image.
It is my opinion from personal taste, so it should not change your mind if you like it.

Oh, I missed it alright! It was very cloudy, not good lighting, so my shutter speed was slow, but that was fine while he was sitting there, but he spun around and took off, I just happen to be pushing the shutter button at the time. I was hoping it was a freeze, but no. : ( I liked it enough to maybe put up the the blur

I think its cool because the head is mostly crisp.
however, it would be better fully sharp in my opinion.
still great colors, and background too.
its like about 3000 of my shots this year. ALMOST!!:D
