The reason i suggested laminate floor panels is because they snap together, You assemble the floor right on top of you carpeting. If you ever decide to move, you unsnap and your off to another place to re set it up

I'd be all over that plan, but it's only like 1/4" think (the ikea stuff, anyway), and I don't think that is thick enough to work well over carpet.

It works on mine very well. They lock together and its a very solid layout. Mine is on a commercial carpet which is glued to the cement floor. floor is on top and very solid. We jump on it and nothing happens. These things lock well and its a 11x16 solid wood floor. Its going no place until you un-snap it again.

Yes, on commercial carpet, I could see that would work fine. I have fairly thick, well padded carpet.

Well, I spend a lot more time behind a 500mm than I do a portrait lens, and even then I'm usually photographing children. First go at a senior session, but C&C welcome...

sto, you may want to try reducing the lines under her eyes. and her shoulders are to square to the camera.

I was thinking the laminate stuff had to be hammered together, which would be hard if tis not actually against a wall or corner.

if my carpet gives to much I plan to get a piece of plywood to put under the flooring.

I checked denny for pavement flooring designs, and it costs more than the backdrops! I need some cheap alternatives!

Lumber Liquidators, Menards, Lowes, HD, etc. have nice inexpensive laminate flooring too and might be more accessible than IKEA in some parts of the country as an alternative.

whats the name of the thing you use for the wall of a shower? It was recommended a while back as a floor alternative that is nice and reflective and pure white.

Tile Board. Home Depot has it if youre in the US.

I was talking specific to Ikea flooring... I installed 3 in my kitchen... Trash...

Here's a few from a last minute senior session this week. He had to have a picture turned in the next day to the yearbook staff. Once I got there I realized I forgot my softbox, my shutter button started to act up and I had to push down really hard on it in order for it to work and a storm was moving in. I was real worried with how hard I had to push on the shutter that I would get some camera movement. CC please!!
