Thank you for sharing your findings. Would you happen to know which version of 2X extender is in the program? There is a 2X II and 2XIII.

Great point. I didn't ask and I should have. (If nobody finds out by the end of today, I'll call tomorrow and figure it out.)

I was told that it was version II - but YMMV.

Let me know if anyone hears something different and I'll add/update the original post.

Original post has been updated to add 5DMII and lens/flash options.

Sorry for the delay (I hate it when the real world gets in the way of POTN!!) :D

Thanks for taking time to update. They should sticky this. ;)

Yes they are. Better hurry though. They had 66 left when I started the call and I just got off. Said that they had about 500 an hour or so ago.

Got one--Thanks

500 at one time makes it a good bet they are returns--not repaired units-;)

I bought a 7D two days ago - they still let me buy the 5Dmk2 a couple of hours ago - with the same 20% discount.

(7D is going back though :) )

ya took me 35 mins to order it with a lens.

at first she ordered just the camera..then realized she had to do the lens with it..cancelled the first..did the second..then realized the lens wasn't in stock..then created another order with the camera and a new lens.

40 min convo. and there was only 1 left at that time (tuesday i think)

Yeah my order took a while too. But I'd gladly wait on the phone for 40% off. I came out at like $1503 with shipping to Ohio. I'll report back with condition and shutter count when it comes in.

Apparantly, the 5DII isn't going out of stock as fast as expected. I was half-hoping they would be out of stock when I got home from work to prevent me from ordering. Instead, I have a 5DII on order for me and a 60D on order for my wife. I'm so disappointed. :D
