Recently did a Firefox update and now every picture appears in a black page. Can I change this or is this a new fashion in posting images?

Any help would be appreciated.

No changes have been done on this end.
Try disabling your plugins.
With my FF upgrade did not change anything in image viewing.

Yes, the way images are displayed in POTN is still the same after the last update.
Now that I'm running FireFox ver 12 , using right click>View Image, the browser (not POTN) displays the image in a dark gray background.
I kinda like that possibility, so I have not checked if it can be disabled in FireFox.

Thanks Pekka and rpolitsr, yes it's quite attractive with the dark background, but can't see a way to disable it. Oh yes, it's FireFox ver 12.

I'm using FF 12.0 and images have the same white background they always have had.

I get the same effect Rafael does if I right click and select "view image". Background looks black to me. But that's the only time I see the effect.
