Its not much of a "waterfall", but it did have a good little drop, and a good flow. I will have a proper waterfall to post in the next day or two...still recovering from the hike.

A small section of the Oconaluftee River in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Here's a couple from a trip to West Virginia this past weekend.... Shot all day Sunday in jeans and a t-shirt, then woke up to 6+inches of snow Monday morning....

Douglas Falls is just off of 219 in Thomas, WV along the North Fork Blackwater River. The bright orange you see on the rocks is left from the acid used in the mining process and nearby coke ovens. This falls isn't too hard to get to but the orange rocks you see is so slick you'd swear someone sprayed them all down with Pam or something. The instant snow was pretty cool as well.

Wairere Falls higest falls in North Island at 153 mtrs

Shot 1 is from viewing platform. However we decided to get some ropes and absail down then walk up as far as we could.

In this shot you can see a faint fall at the bottom this is where shot 2 was taken.
