I did remove part of the sign in LR4 but haven't gotten around to try it in PSE9. I may try it tomorrow. I was traveling last week photographing some lighthouses so that's why I haven't tried it yet. If you wish to post your work you have my permission.

Playing a bit in LR4 on an older shot from June 2010. I'm not that good at removing items like the no parking sign on the right side. May try and do that in the near future.

Thanks. It's interesting how the image lightened. All I did was edit the sign out, and nothing else, so I have no idea how the overall image was brightened. Tht really is a nice photo. Thanks for letting me play with it.

Only recommendation I have to removing the "sex" sign on the building to the left as well, its a little distracting

I did some further work on my Bittern shot from a couple of pages back. I tried to recreate the period feel by converting to black and white and adding a bit of "film grain". I also made some selective contrast enhancements and cropped out some distractions. Finally I cloned out the chap on the opposite platform with a video camera on a tripod. I got the effect I had in mind and now consider this my best train shot.

I just started photographing trains about a week ago. Managed to grab this one the second night out, about 10 minutes before sunset.

He's emulating a vintage photo, and I do believe they had sex back in the days of steam.

Maybe not, though.

I thought that looked familiar. Here's a shot I took of the same train a couple of months ago. I live in Niles and am lucky to see this train often from my backyard.
