Yesterday I visited Windsor (UK) had intended to go into the Castle (us locals get in free) however I forgot it was changing the Guard and the Queen was doing a walk about, I could not get through the crowds to get any photos of the Guards or Her Majesty but here are a few of the mêlée.

I was in windsor this time last year! It's really beautiful, one thing I remember is paying almost double for starbucks than I do here in the U.S. But it was worth it! :)

So I have been laid up with a bad knee so I decided to do a little test shoot out my front door. I don't do a lot of landscapes but had been wanting to play with strong ND filters. So when I came across a piece of welders glass for $5 at the local hardware store I figured what the hell. And a custom white balance and a little PS fun and this was the result, the exposure was 30sec F14 ISO 400. Not to bad for a $5 filter.

Thanks I might not have ever found that thread. I had heard of people using welders glass so when I came across it at the hardware store and it was only $5 I figured I couldn't go wrong. Now I just have to build a mount for it.

I just use 2 rubber bands and attach it to my lens using the lens hood. I use a towel to cover the camera, lens, and filter edge to keep light leaks from happening.
